Story Line The scene is a park bench situated in the sun on the grounds of a local retirement home. The play takes place over a year period and features the life time friendship and relationship between Burt and Harold. These long-time friends spend their days on a bench bickering. Their relationship is complicated and enriched by the introduction of Adrienne, a retired actress with a sunny disposition. When they learn that the home is about to be sold the three join forces to prevent this upsetting development.
