The born-into-wealth Mrs. Mary Astor-Turf has been receiving messages from the great beyond! She believes her long-deceased grandfather has been trying to send her a message from the afterlife, and she enlists the help of a renowned and eccentric psychic medium to help her to communicate with him any way she can. Unbeknownst to Mary, every person that knows her thinks that she is crazy and wants to put her wealth to good use; her unfaithful husband Teddy and his deceitful mistress.
